The Hundred in the Hands – Keep It Low

July 3, 2012

Electropop is at its best when it feels almost overwhelming big — so epic that it hurts. It’s an effect that can be achieved when the right balance is struck between sensory overload and the sonically spacious arrangement, and on “Keep It Low” Eleanore Everdell and Jason Friedman strike that balance. It’s Everdell’s croons combined with a synth driven mix that builds a larger-than-life sound that, at some point, starts to feel like it should soundtrack some of your life’s more extraordinary moments.
