Jethro Fox, a little-known Liverpudlian “multi-instrumentalist,” hasn’t lived enough of a sonically public life — in other words, there’s just not a whole lot of him on the internet — for us to figure out who he is or what he’s about. But, based on the little we’ve heard/seen, and maybe most importantly, the nostalgically catchy chorus on “Blinding Light,” it’s fair to say that Fox has the right mix old tropes and new tricks to be successful. “Blinding Light” is on a 7″ set to be released August 20th.
