The Knocks – Savior (feat. Ra Ra Riot)

February 11, 2014

The Knocks have come a long viagra from canada way since their Make It Better EP from a few years ago. I can recall jamming out to tracks like thinking that The Knocks were some sort of indie pop act with a slight emphasis on the electronic genre. From then to now you can definitely notice the subtle shift in their sound as they’ve progressively transitioned to become a strictly electro dance outfit. For some artists this is essentially a death wish, but The Knocks have pulled it off in a pretty epic fashion with recent club jammers like “The Feeling” and “Learn To Fly”. Their upcoming Comfortable EP picks up right where they left off with a collection of four equally awesome dance tracks. “The One” has already been swirling around the blogosphere for a couple of weeks, so I figured I’d give another one of my favorites from the EP, “Savior”, a little love. It definitely doesn’t hurt to collaborate with a gifted artist like Ra Ra Riot’s Wes Miles, and together these two produce one of the better pop tracks I’ve heard all year. Comfortable

EP is out February 18th on Neon Gold Records.
